I have always used Gorokan post office as their service and friendliness was outstanding. The new owner is NOT like this. He is rude and generally unfriendly. I’ll be going somewhere else from now on. What a shame

Australia Post Gorokan offer many services including passport photos, postal services, bill payments, travel insurance and cash withdrawals.

The service by the staff is always friendly, helpful and fast; even during the busy times. The staff provide appropriate advice and are very understanding when you need to recall an item before being sent.

Two staff members felt it was appropriate to yell “oh go away” when a customer knocked on the doors they had closed early because the staff had somewhere to be after work. I understand customers within the last 20 minutes of the day can be annoying but the levels of rudeness were so shocking. Every customer was made to feel like a burden simply for seeking service within trading hours. I was glared at and spoken down to, otherwise completely ignored while the staff engaged in passive aggressive conversation. Terrible customer service.

I love this little post office – won’t go anywhere else. Staff are wonderful
