I had absolutely dismal returns from these guys averaging less than 2% per year over 12 years. Just completed first year with different company. 9% return. I feel so robbed 🙁

Worst super fund in the globe. They are still on paper system. I have been chasing to update my account details for past 2 months. Every time they giving different reasons. I really hate their service and never recommend any one to join them.

I’ve called them thrice to check if my insurance is fully underwritten. The first two times they told me it was. The third time when I asked for that in writing, they said it wasn’t. Few people call and check, let alone three times. The people at the call centre barely understand what underwriting even is. With the royal commission breathing down their necks, these guys continue to provide false information and misleading information that could frankly jeopardise people’s quality of life. Absolutely incredible.

There is chance that this company has incorrect information on the file. And you will have no option to update it or verify it online. Good luck with getting your ID verified through JP during lock down 🙂 and sorry, thats the only option!

Pretty representative of how they do everything – it’s 2021 and I get an email asking ME to call THEM about whether I still want email reports or not. CFS seem intent on doing business like it’s 1997 for as long as they possibly can. So many things that should be easy, and online, are neither.

Colonial First State breached my investment agreement by charging adviser service fees ongoing for eight years. I had not consented to pay these fees in 2009. It is refusing to take any action and its staff are still refusing to report this breach to ASIC and/or APRA.

I wish I read the reviews here before dealing with them, rip off, they cancelled my life insurance stating a letter was sent, the letter did not reach me, but the problem is the customer service staff are very abrupt, just keep saying you lost your insurance, without offering any further empathy or help. Twice called to speak with a manager no one calls back stating they are very busy. Very poor service colonial, shame

Pretty bad when I have to ring to request money that is legally mine! I receive a payment monthly and one fortnightly from an allocated pension.

I can’t blame the lady I spoke to, as she just works there. But one payment is 2 days late, the other is due today. The public holiday was blamed. I was told :”It will most likely be in today”. Cold comfort when I have 2 bills I have to pay! Sub standard service!
