Had a child seat fitting with Amy and Bob. Whilst Bob was fantastic, friendly and chatty, he was serving other customers and only came over to help towards the end.

Amy was the complete opposite. Rude, condescending and icy. She did not have great communication skills and it felt like she didn’t want to be there.

I went to RAA Mile End, RAA car insurance itself is good but one of the staff (Diana Luff) was so racist and disrespected. I was so confused, she was looked at me from head to foot then she asked me “Are you understand English? “ while I was talking to her (in ENGLISH!!!! )regarding what I need and what RAA can offer for almost 10 minutes. how could she asked me such a stupid question?

If this doesn’t sound like racist to you, I don’t know what is.

Called them today at 3pm to notify them of me changing my car. I didn’t have to wait on hold either, which I wish most companies were like this. The lovely gentleman on the phone was extremely helpful. Am totally impressed with how friendly, understanding & helpful he was. I highly recommend them.

Poor service , three ladies, all not seemingly busy, staring at computers, no one looked up , should have said hi there can I help you. NOTHING. !!!!. We purchased something from THEM. RAA insurance is a rip off i was paying 120$/ month for my bmwx4 and they cancelled the policy and they want me to pay 190$/ month and their reasoning is others for the same car has claimed more during last year, my question to them.was what have I got with others when I have no claims at all . There are plenty of insurance companies offering better service at a lower price that RAA, due to their ripoff policy I got my new insurance done thru Alliance at a better rate.

I needed an Interstate Safety Certificate for NSW rego for my trailer as I am in SA keeping safe away from Sydney and covid.

I booked in and found staff courteous professional and polite in dealings with me. They came and took my motorhome and trailer through gates leaving me away from vehicle and after the inspection the guy came and told me he found everything is good working and safe and PASSED the inspection.

He informed me they email it to service NSW and gave me the original.

Extremely Bad Experience!!! Money taken out from my bank account even though I am not a customer of thiers!!

RAA allow fraudulent activities and refuse to rectify even all details and evidence are provided, so if you are looking to become a customer of thiers, be extra careful with your card details.

I attended the Child Safety area to have my fitting of the baby seat checked. I’m glad I did as although I thought it was spot on, they’re were a number of small but important changes the lady made.

She showed me what she was doing and expressing why. She then showed me how to get my grandson in and out and that too was really good.

This is a service I recommend to everyone, not just RAA members.

Claim was submitted nice and promptly however dealing with the total loss team left a lot to be desired. I was calling every day sometimes several times a day to get updates on the claim. Each time I’d call I would get the same response “someone will call you shortly” as expected a call never came.

No updates where given until I had lodged an internal complaint with RAA and a complaint with AFCA. The payout we where expecting was for the sum insured amount however RAA reduced it to limit their liability.

As of current the claim is still ongoing, I have never had an issue making a claim with them before however if your vehicle gets deemed a total loss all I can say is good luck.

Twice had to deal with this company on a motor accident claim where we were 100% not at fault. Waiting on phone calls, a number of them over a period of time for a half an hour and then it rings out, trying for over a week to have some communication, emails go unanswered. This company is as bad as any company I have had the misfortune to deal with. Time to contact the CEO to ask what sort of organization is he running!! If you are thinking of using them for insurance, think again and God help if you are involved in a claim!!

Went to check and fit child restraint (seats). Very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff.

They had plenty of good quality child restraint seats to choose from at reasonable prices.

They fitted them and all good
