Well bottom feeders is a huge understatement! I had made a claim in Feb 2020 , only for it to be settled in December 2020. SCI made me pay upfront for the repairs to be done . There excuse was “we don’t know what you are going to spend the money on” to be honest none of there business. Do i ask how they spend my premiums? Not only did i have to pay upfront for repairs they then said we wont pay the GST??? I engaged the ombudsmen and obviously the problem was resolved. 10 months for a settlement less than $7k not a big claim by any means . I’m sure i will get a reply saying please contact us, funny thing is I was told by Sharon not to contact them as this is a Body Corporate claim….. Surprise guess who’s pays the the Body Corp levies ??? Total bottom feeders and typical insurance company. I advise giving this so called Insurance company and wide berth. Absolute disgusting.
