The company offers life and health insurance including cancer patients, personal accidents, travel insurance, and retirement; insurance for personal property including automobiles and home; insurance for work-related accidents; as well as insurance for companies providing collective health, student, property, and dangerous occupation coverage. The firm is the result of the merger between Pacífico Peruano Suiza and Pacífico Vida, and it is part of Peruvian insurance group Pacífico Grupo Asegurador, owned by financial holding companies Credicorp and Grupo Crédito. The company’s operations started in 1944, with the incorporation of the first company, El Pacífico.
