I did some research on Branch insurance and found nothing but positive comments and ratings. The price to replace both auto and home insurance, saved me over $500 per year. The process was simple and the agent was great. He matched all my coverage and a bit more. I am thankful I found this great company!
My experience with Branch insurance has been very positive. Although I worked on my quotes online first, I called to their customer support to get a few clarifications. Mitzy who was the customer representative was very cordial, responsive and helpful answering my questions.
Their prices are definitely competitive. I am hoping their claims department is reliable and seamless (God forbid if we have to put in claim).
I’ve had auto insurance for over 20 years. I have NEVER in that entire time experienced the level of incompetency seen at Branch. I have ALWAYS set up auto pay using my checking account. NEVER have I had issues verifying this account. For some reason, the small deposits could not be entered for verification on Branch’s app or website. When I called to confirm, they said they can set up auto pay via my debit card. During this time, they cancelled my auto insurance. Thankfully, I had forgotten to cancel my previous one so I was still driving insured. However, rather than reinstating my insurance, they RENEWED the policy stating that my new monthly payments will be $50 MORE per month! The following month, the SAME card they used for payment the previous month, supposedly didn’t work. When they were contacted about this, they were able to process it with NO changes to the card or account. They still refused to honor the original policy amount. In this whole time, I received MULTIPLE cancellation notices. One of which was failure to provide proof of insurance. When they requested the declaration page from my prior provider, I sent it to them. I was told by my previous provider that all of this can be obtained from a centralized database. Apparently, Branch is incapable of doing this extra step that ALL other companies do. They claim my prior well established provider does NOT report to this central database. To confirm if this is true or not, I contacted another insurance provider and sure enough, they were able to access my prior insurance coverage info! I NEVER write terrible reviews because everyone deserves the benefit of doubt. but this company is the WORST I’ve ever dealt with. Their customer service is awful. They cancelled my policy and now i am left scrambling to find something before driving home from work today. USE THIS COMPANY WITH CAUTION! All this happened without a claim being placed… I can only imagine what it would be like if you filed a claim with them for something. CONSUMER BEWARE!
It was truly the most pleasant hassle free switch I’ve ever made! The specialist are caring & knowledgeable! The app is so easy! O am so pleasantly surprised! I rarely write reviews but Branch insurance is do worthy of a glowing review! Thank you all sooo much! I’m so glad I made the change & am with Branch now! Here’s to a long & beautiful future together!!!
