It appears the contractor that uses this insurance is as bad as the insurance company! Both scam artist…. won’t pay for damage they cause!

Take the longest time doing anything. Its been 3 months since our damage was assessed and still no claim check.

This is the worst company I have ever experienced. Suffered damage from Hurricane Irma and this company put me through pure hell.

BEWARE Citizens Property Insurance Corporation when shopping for hazard insurance for your house. I had a massive oak tree that was damaged by a storm and was literally going to crush my neighbor’s house. I immediately contracted El Cheapo Tree Service (AMAZING) to remove the tree, Paid the $4,000 out of my own pocket, and it was gone in 48 hours.

I found out this morning my claim was completely denied because the tree didn’t actually fall and do any damage. The result of the conversation was that it would have been better to let the tree fall, possibly causing not only catastrophic property damage, but also potentially causing great injury or death. I’m not mad about spending the $4,000 (it was the right thing to do), I just can’t believe that they didn’t see the value in reimbursing me even partially for such a small amount vs. me waiting for the tree to fall and then them paying out a claim possibly over $1,000,000 for accidental death etc.
