Very disappointing experience. This was my provider for homeowners insurance for 3 years. Within those 3 years they dropped me for calling in 3 claims. They paid out a claim once. It was pretty hard to take in that when you need help you are penalized for asking for help. Not only is your policy canceled but it makes it harder to pick up a new policy. I would say go with a bigger company. My experience has been a little more positive. I understand things better under the new company.
I was with a different insurance company until recently. I haven’t had to file an auto insurance claim in over 15 years, however, I purchased a new vehicle 2 weeks ago and switched to Northern Neck because of their competitive rates and good reviews. Unfortunately, I’ve already had to file a claim. Northern Neck Insurance handled the matter quickly and the representative I spoke to was helpful, very reassuring, and more than a pleasure to work with.
Logan,the adjuster, was very responsive. He was professional, friendly and efficient. Payments were mailed immediately. Northern Neck insurance representatives are great. I have had one claim for a previous home through a different insurance company who treated me as if I was trying to cheat them. I am an honest person so would never try to cheat.
