About The Loomis Insurance

Over 60 years ago, The Loomis Company was established with one thing in mind – Customer Care. The Loomis Company was founded by Edwin Loomis in the mid-1950s. We started as a family-owned business and have grown to a national company with a focus on service, expertise, and technology. We have taken the time to develop our talents, learn from our mistakes, and become a stronger organization. Two generations later, we haven’t changed a bit. You will always have a dedicated representative ready to help you over the phone or via email.

“If I could give you a 0, I would. But I can’t, so I give you a 1”. Poor customer service. I was told the rep was “not going to have a therapy session with me” when I was simply asking questions about an EOB claim. Will not be using this company moving forward and discourage all others from doing the same.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I get medical benefits through LOOMIS COMPANY. I signed up through my job. They enrolled me in medical for my children and I started deducting the cost from my paychecks and then failed to tell me that my children aren’t covered. All while never sending me insurance cards to use it. It was a waste of money and this seems like a horrible company to do business with. I will be cancelling my benefits immediately and please stay away from these guys. They lack communication and the basic need in customer service to care about the people they are ripping off.

They make the Keystone Cops look like geniuses. My premium is paid. Their “customer service” person says I’m in a grace period and need to pay ASAP or I’ll lose coverage. I forwarded her my receipt. Bunch of jerks! I would not advise getting insurance from them, and they barely cover anything. It’s less expensive for me to pay my doctor in cash than it is to use this insurance. They need a new IT department if they can’t handle a basic task like connecting a payment to an account. Sheer incompetence.
