I feel sorry for any person that has to go through a claim with this company. Worst company ever. Im glad this claim is finally over so I can switch to another provider. Do NOT insure your home with VPIA.

Confusing, I was told one price for year coverage, and got a bill for almost $500. More and when I tried to make the payment, website was unavailable? Tried to call and voicemail said Office was moving so no one available to speak to.

This company refused to help my 78 year old mother with a renter’s insurance claim. When questioned they gave little detail, didn’t know there own mail address and couldn’t come up with a manager’s name when requested. My mom’s ex tenant is being charged with a felony for all the of destruction and theft to the house but this company called it “normal wear and tear”. Do not trust them, especially with the elderly!

In my opinion VPIA is just a bunch of scammers. They quote you a price that sounds reasonable. But what they don’t tell you is that by signing all their papers, you are agreeing this- ( I (we) agree to pay any additional premium that may be due as a result of an inspection and /or determination of proper rates.) I didn’t know I was agreeing to this until it was too late. They stuck me for an additional $300 (so far) for “substandard conditions.” Be sure you know what you’re getting into. Read the fine print. After you sign you’re at the mercy of Scammers.
