My trip was canceled 3 weeks before by the travel company they refunded me and insure and go didn’t they kept my money . This was out of my control the travel company did the right thing and insure and go did the wrong thing l would NOT deal with insure and go ever again. Even 1 star is too many. I purchased the insurance in November when l paid the trip in full the trip was canceled in March that was 3 months later l still needed it November . Please explain how l am able to know is going to canceled in March 3months later . I still needed the insurance in November so l couldn’t cancel it in 2weeks from purchase. I did not go on this holiday the company did not get the numbers to run this trip. Free money for nothing must be good. DO NOT INSURE WITH INSURE AND GO

I love InsureandGo! The rates are extremely competitive, the web site is very easy to use and the follow up is also brilliant. I realized on the very eve of my overseas trip that I had forgotten to insure. I hopped on line, got the required cover in 5 minutes and the policy document in my hand with everything I required. Great company with whom to deal.

Do not deal with this company!

Booked international trip insurance in December 2019, well ahead of COVID travel advices, for a trip in September which was never taken and they refuse to refund my full premium. Despite me not taking the trip, they only provided a pro-rata 75% refund.

We have used InsureandGo for our last three trips and luckily have had no reason to claim so can’t really submit a proper review. As they say “you can only judge an insurance company by the way they deal with a claim.” However their prices are very competitive and we are pleased to see you can now get insurance up to the age of 100, by which time our travels should be over.

I could not be happier with my InsureandGo policy. The whole process was entirely uncomplicated – no headaches, difficulties or complications whatsoever, which I loved. Instead it was a simple process and the benefits in case of injury/accident were clearly defined. The fact that Choice recommend this company is an added bonus. The associated cost is minimal and more than worth my peace of mind. Within seconds of completing my online application, my policy was in my inbox. Perfect!!

Excellent company to do business with. I have taken out 17 policies with them for my holiday trips in the last 5 and a half years so that must mean I like them and trust them. I have had a claim on two occasions, only small amounts pertaining to doctor fees and medicines and claims process is easily done on line and I was kept abreast and given timelines all the way. Received payout of my claim within two weeks.

I have used insure and go for the last 8 trips I have done. Their prices are very reasonable and I like that there are at least three levels of insurance. So far I have been lucky enough not to have to make a claim but I have no doubt that it would be just as easy to make a claim as it is to purchase the travel cover.

We purchased a gold policy January for international travel in May. Because of the current travel restrictions all tour companies and airlines we booked with have offered full credits for travel next year with no deductions. We requested a refund from Insureandgo and was advised we could receive a credit calculated by a formula that resulted we would lose 50% of the $649 premium! Why? We did not travel, we did not claim. I have noted Anna has given a standard response advising disgruntled policy holders to contact the resolution team. I am curious how many positive outcomes. John

We also took out a policy with Insure and Go. We made a booking in November 2019 and took out insurance at the same time only to be declined when we made a claim. We escalated the claim and did not hear from them so i have lodged a complaint with AFCA. Still no response from The insurer. Insure and Go; please contact me via email with your response

Use with caution, website and quote terminology is quite misleading, found out i was not covered for much more than I had anticipated & customer service was very disappointing.

i insured with insure and go (who i always insure with but never made a claim)) for a trip to perth beginning on 30th sept. 2021 costing $140, i cancelled the trip a week ago, 6 weeks before holiday commenced and got a refund in full from virgin austraia, no birds car hire, and 6 different accommodation sites. insure and go told me they would only refund me $46 even though our holiday didnt start for another 6 weeks. word of warning: if you take out insurance with these people take out insurance with another company to insure against insure and go . PS i still havent got my $46

You honestly can’t trust this insurance provider, it’s not worth it. They will take weeks to respond, offer misleading information and use changing circumstances against your claim to avoid honoring their duty. Best avoid.
