Have had FMI for over 12 years, put in two claims and on both occasions FMI came thru with flying colors. Never gave us any trouble with the claim. All contractors paid in a timely fashion. Would highly recommend.

Submitted a claim March 20th. It is now April 16 and water is now all over my attic and second floor kitchen due to the rain and storm we are having today. With something as serious as a roofing problem the company should act within a few days. What started off as a smaller fix has turned into somethig more serious because of their delay. What solution have they provided? None……As soon as I get this fixed I am changing to another insurance company. Do not buy insurance from here. They promise the world but don’t deliver when you need the service you are paying for.

I had the ABSOLUTE pleasure of calling FMI regarding an on-line payment issue. The rapid response, along with the professionalism and kindness of Jenn (Customer Service Agent), were exemplary. My issue was resolved in no time at all. Thank you FMI!

They had me remove a tree that was slightly leaning which I did to the tune of 2000.00 then repair a my front steps which a lose flagstone which I did 2400. .Then had storm damage to my roof they paid some of it but another 850.00 out of pocket which did. Now I also had some peeling of paint that was on high on a eve which I did not beacause I thought they were kidding peeling paint would cause them to cancel insurance !!!!and they never informed me I was a month with out coverage. 30 years and 2 claims, If they were negative stars I would give this company -10 not fair and THANKS FOR ALL YOUR LOYAL SUPPORT.

this is a suspicious company that very often under pay house claims, but homeowner do not know. they are happy with wherever they get

Very dissatisfied with the way FMI handled a claim after Hurricane Ida. Not happy with the miscommunication, the length of time taken, the very small amount of money they sent to cover claim, with absolutely no explanation of what damage was covered and what was not covered. The final straw was the check being issued in the wrong name.
